Giveaway Wheel for Streamers

Running a giveaway live is a timing problem as much as a fairness problem. You need the draw to read clearly on a 1080p capture, land fast enough that chat does not drift, and be obviously impartial to everyone watching. This wheel is built for that moment: high-contrast slices that survive stream compression, a spin you can trigger with the space bar without alt-tabbing, and a winner card big enough to read on a phone watching your VOD.

Entrants

Paste the entrant list straight from your chat bot, your Discord, or a spreadsheet — one name per line, and add "x2" after a name to give subscribers extra weight. Every result is drawn with the browser's cryptographic random generator before the wheel starts moving, so the animation is presentation, not the decision. Remove each winner between draws to run a multi-prize giveaway without duplicates, and use fullscreen mode when you want the wheel as a full-frame scene in OBS. Nothing is uploaded anywhere; your entrant list stays in your browser.

How to use it

  1. Paste your entrant list — one viewer per line.
  2. Add "x2" or "x3" after a name to weight subs and long-time followers.
  3. Go fullscreen, capture the tab in OBS, and hit Space to spin live.
  4. Remove the winner and spin again for your next prize.

Good for

  • Sub-only giveaways and key drops between matches
  • Picking which game or category to play next
  • Choosing a viewer to duo with on stream
  • Charity stream milestone rewards
  • Deciding challenge rules and self-imposed handicaps

Frequently asked questions

Can I weight subscribers more heavily?

Yes. Add "x2" or "x5" after a name and that entrant occupies proportionally more of the wheel while still appearing once in your list.

Will chat believe the draw is fair?

The winner is chosen cryptographically before the animation begins, and the whole entrant list is visible on the wheel — nothing is hidden off-screen.

Does it work as an OBS browser source?

Yes. Capture the tab or window, switch the wheel to fullscreen, and the layout scales cleanly to any canvas size.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your wheels and your entrant list are stored locally in your own browser and are never uploaded to our servers. The site stays free through third-party ads such as Google AdSense, which may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies — see our Privacy Policy for details.

Is the wheel truly random?

Yes. Every spin uses your browser's built-in cryptographic random generator (crypto.getRandomValues), not the weaker Math.random(). The winner is picked fairly in proportion to each entry's slice size, and each result is independent of previous spins.
